In my opinion,Mandela will always be one of the greatest men South Africa has to offer.Everyday I look at the opportunities that are at our doorstep as the youth I realise how sometimes we forget to thank those who fought for freedom so that we can enjoy a life so peaceful. Therefore I take this oppornity to thank all those who sacrifised their lives and left their families to fight for freedom and peace in South Africa. To the great leaders of this country may the good grace of the Lord be with you and your families, and to the families of those that have passed, hope their tears have been dried and they are enjoying what this country has inherited, from the ashes of their loved ones, freedom was born.

madibas release was a great day but unfortunately... the guys in the townships STILL don't have options ... the the people of all races who run SA are the only ones with opportunity and privilege. part of the problem is that i think madiba did a deal with margaret thatcher - the first foreign leader he met on the first overseas trip after his release. he was 3 days in downing street. maybe things would have been different if the UDF had not been disbanded the same year. sadly i think history will show that madiba and his party were not so great after all

I am very concern with your news paper 's report on 100 influetial youth in the country. For one to be influential one must be residing in Gauteng Provence or Western Cape, because for the ssrcnd year in cosective we don't have any one from NC,NW,EC, Mpumalanga, and Limpopo that made your list. Please make sure that next year's you will take more time to do the list by taking time to go to the so called small provinces because we have lot of talent there, we have the provential leadership for varius movement in the country and councelours and the Mayors that could have made more impact in the life of the aspiring youth of this country in that rural area. Places that you must check must e.g Warrenton, Taung, Bloemhof ect.

Nelson Mandela is the best example ever in south africa that everything is possible in this world only if you have the courage for what you believe in

L.S. Bos Theaterproductions is a Dutch theaterproduction company which is going to produce "Amandla Mandela, the musical" about the life of Nelson Mandela.
We would like to use this picture of Mr. Mandela leaving the prison for publcity artwork. If necessary we would pay for the costs.
